Necros are doomed to either running SS or bitchbars (Orders, Splinter, Etc) in high-end PvE.

I always liked [Feast of corruption]. A duo or trio of Foc'ers do crap loads of damage.

The hero AI can't play MM right at all. It can only MB well. A good human MM can run circles around even the best hero MB. You've probably never had the good fortune to see a good human MM if you think heroes can really compare.

Thank you. I personally feel the same way. A lot of people have lost faith in humans as MM's.

Well, it's not that good at Minion Bombing because AI tends to always be way back of the group spamming the crap out of Death Nova.
Back on topic, necros are just awesome in any aspect of pve and many templates are viable.
I usually run curse because I think that's were a human necro makes a difference.

That's what makes a hero MB better than a human MB.
[jagged bones][animate bone minions][death nova][blood of the master]

There's lots of fun stuff to do with a necro. Necro's are not pinned down an a single powerfull build like some other classes. Enjoy the occassion and play arround with different builds.

Human MMs are hugely underrated considering heroes have monopolized the job. Order of Undeath combined with Ebon Battle Standard of Honor makes Bone Fiends rip through PvE. Spiteful Spirit is always a strong, sometimes lazy build that has been powerful since Proph. Wail of Doom is becoming quite popular nowadays, though it is only truly powerful with a focused, well-built team with plenty of physical damage to power Barbs / Mark of Pain. The last resort for a necro is the so called bitchbar, meaning battery or orders, both of which are immensely straightforward.
